Weekly Harris Teeter and a quick Walmart Haul.. SOUP SOUP AND SHAMPOO!

Hey everybody I hope you are all having a wonderful week. Today I did my weekly shopping trip at Harris Teeter and Walmart. I actually did no grocery shopping last week because we were moving so it was a nice break from my regular routine.. Alright let's see what I got.

From Harris Teeter:
The picture is kinda bad but it's a lot of stuff. I got...
6 cans of Swanson premium chicken breast they are originally priced at 2.19 but were on sale this week for 1.79. I used 2- .60/2 coupon that doubled bringing my OOP for 6 cans to 6.57

4 cartons of Swanson broth. These are originally priced at 2.99 but are on a B1G1 free sale (which makes each ring up for half price). I used 2- .40/2 coupons that doubled bringing my OOP for 4 cartons to 4.38

1 Gold Peak Tea that is priced at 2.29. My .75 off coupon doubled bringing my OOp for the tea to .79

2 Haribo gummy bear packs originally priced at 1.29 and on sale for .99. I paired this with a .30 off coupon that doubled bringing my OOP for the two packs of gummies to .78.

6 boxes of raisin bran crunch cereal. These are on a B1G1 free sale and originally priced at 4.15. I used 3- $1/2 coupons (HT only doubles coupons that have a face value of up to .99 so these coupons did not double) bringing my OOP for the 6 boxes to 9.45 (only 1.58 per box, a lot cheaper than 4.15 per box).

1 Pepsi max that is originally priced at 2.19 but on sale for 1.99. I used a .55 coupon that doubled bringing the price of the soda to .89.

3 always 50 count panty liners that are originally priced at 3.99 but on sale for 3.00. I used 3-.50 off coupons that doubled bringing the price to 2 per box. I also had a .50 off ecoupon (attached to my loyalty card) that brought the price of one box to 1.50

3 always 26 count pads that were the exact same deal as the liners.

10 cans of progresso soup. These soups are originally 2.89 but on a B2G3 free sale (WHICH IS GREAT BY ITSELF) I had 2- $1/4 coupons that I was using. One coupon went through fine the second did not. The cashier stated it is because I only technically purchased 4 cans. This is not how HT's coupon policy is but I just took one coupon back and will email corporate for written clarification.

Well that was a lot huh.. My total before coupons and sales was $126.43 and I paid 54.15 OOP. A total savings of $72.28 or 57%.. Not bad and I am getting a head start on my holiday grocery list...

I also received these goodies from the register at Harris Teeter. I got a $2 off my next shopping trip coupon... $1.50 off any 3 boxes of General Mills cereal and A FREE GALLON OF MILK!!! Usually the machine prints coupons for things I have no desire to get but today I hit the jack pot..

Now on to Walmart...
Have you ever heard Walmart boast that they have the lowest prices, well they take this to heart. If you find an item that is cheaper somewhere else walmart will match that price. So these suave professional shampoo's and conditioners are on sale at Dollar General this week for 1.75 and they are priced at 1.87 at walmart. So Walmart matched that price and I was able to you my B1G1 free coupons at walmart making 5 of these completely FREE... My total before coupons and price match was 18.70 and I spent 9.98 a total savings of 8.72 or 46%.. not bad and I will have a clean head for a while.

If you are interested in any of these deals you have until Tuesday at harris teeter and saturday at walmart (to match the dollar general add) to get them. As always happy couponing..
