Hey everyone I hope you had an amazing Thanksgiving. I took a little time off to enjoy my family during the Holiday and let all the black Friday madness smooth over.. So let's jump right in with my weekly Harris Teeter Haul..

I purchased:

1 Boneless Skinless chicken breast package on a B1G1 free sale. The original price for this was $7.99 but the sale makes it ring up half price so I paid $3.69 OOP.

3 Honey Nut Cheerios on sale for $2.50 from $3.59. I used a $.50 coupon on each that doubled making each box $1.50.

2 Doritos on a B1G1 free sale with an original price of $4.29 making them $4.29/2 or$2.15 each.

10 Muellers pastas. They are B2G3 free this week with an original price of $1.75. I used 2 $.75 off coupon that doubled making 2 boxes $.25. I paid a OOP price of  $4 for 10 boxes of pasta!!!!

2 Lipton tea bags 16 count at a price of $1.35. I used 2 $.25 off coupons that doubled bringing each box to an OOP of $.85.

2 I can't believe it's not butter tubs on sale for $2.49 from $3.19. I used a $1.50 off 2 coupon bringing my OOP for the butter to $1.74 each.

1 bead priced at $2.99. I used a FREE bread coupon when you buy 2 tubs of I can't believe it's not butter coupon ( up to $2) so I paid $.99 for the bread.

10 Land o Lakes coca packets on sale for $.59 from $.79.

2 V8 Fusion drinks on a B1G1 free sale with an original price of $3.89 making them $3.89 for the 2 or $1.94 each.

3 Hot Pockets on sale for $2 from $2.50. I used a $1/3 coupon bringing the OOP for each box to $1.66

I also did the meal deal which is purchase certain items and you get them for a low price. This week the deal was to purchase

1 Half gallon of HT brand milk

1 Nutra Grain bars

1 Pop Tarts

1 Frosted Mini Wheats

ALL FOR $6.99!!!

I also decided to purchase another box of pop tarts which are on sale for $2 from $2.35 and use a $1/2 coupon bringing the OOP for the second box to $1.

I also used a $10 off $50 purchase from recyclebank.com

My total before coupons and sales was $114.21 and I spent $48.61 OOP. A total savings of $65.60 or 57%

I went to all three drugstores, and picked up a few things from Harris Teeter (I also went to Walmart but that was strictly to get some needed things for turkey day)... Here is what I purchased:

4 Sunday papers priced at $1.25 (This is my last week purchasing newspapers for the giveaway. You have until 11/30 to enter so HURRY!).

1 Cover Girl Tru Blend pressed powder on clearance for $4.24 from $9.69.

I used $8UP that I walked in with..

My total before coupons and sales was $14.69 with my OOP being $.89 a total savings of $13.80 or 94%.

Overwhelmed with registering for sites to get coupons?

Hey everyone, it just dawned on me that a lot of people may becoming overwhelmed with constantly being forced to sign up for websites to print coupons and receive samples. This is a great way to stay in contact with a company and know when they have things available, but it can easily make your inbox unbearable. Here are some ways to ease that and keep yourself interested as well as continue to receive the hottest coupons...

1. Create a separate email dedicated to your couponing. This way you can check it whenever you choose and will not overwhelm your personal inbox. I have even created an account on a separate site (ie yahoo, gmail, hotmail) so I will never confuse the two.

2. Opt out of receiving newsletters. Most sites have various check boxes at the end of their registration period. READ THEM. You do not have to receive any information from the site or their affiliates so skip the boxes that say you want to.

3. Understand that you do not have to print every coupon or get every deal to be a couponer. Only get what is appealing to you and your family. I see a lot of deals and only spend the time posting what I feel my readers would be interested in. A lot of the deals I see as well as those I post I pass on because they are not things I need for my family. Couponing is meant to be tailored to your individual needs but you have to make it that way..

So I just came across this interesting way of earning a few dollars and actually enjoyed it. Companies have to get their product information out in various ways and this is a very profitable way for you as well as them. www.jingit.com is a site where you watch short commercials an earn money. I earned $2.77 and spent less than 10 minutes on the site. Simply head to the site and log in (via Facebook is the only option) and begin watching adds via the START HERE button. After each video click next video until you run out or get tired of watching for the day. Once you earn over $2 you can request a Jingit Visa Debit card ti load your money on ( the enrollment fee for the card is $2 but there are no other fees if you use the card and stay away from the atm. Also there is a maximum that you can earn per week which is $5 but that is still gas or lunch.. so check it out and have fun with it..

2 Welch's 64 oz juices (1 light and 1 regular) on sale for $3.99 from $4.59. I used a $.50/2 coupon that doubled and had $2 in ecoupons come off at the register ($1 for the regular juice and $1 for the light) making each bottle $2.49 OOP.

1 Hungry Jack syrup on sale for $2.99 from a normal price of $3.89 (really wow!). I used a $.55 off coupon that doubled bringing the OOP price of this syrup to $1.79.
